ive seen multiple iterations of this done with the CM4. All of them were funky looking, or ended up being pricy. The pi5 is powerful sure, but the completed project likley being around 300 bucks just does not sound like a good deal. If you NEED a arm cpu for your tasks, then sure, but a pinebook will be cheaper. Otherwise just get an x86 used laptop for 300. the build quality will actually be decent rather then chromebook-like-quality.
